To Pull out local oscilator signal I put BNC connector behind the back panel. On connector terminal I connect single wire as pick up coil. I will divert this connector for digital local oscilator incoming plan.
Occasinaly I connect bared frequency counter. Local oscillator is stabilizing with installed into case. However frequency adjusting volume is critical for tuning. As intermediate frequency band width is 200kHz, it is acceptable of local oscillater frequency astability.
There are good combination for accurate frequency counter, astable local oscillator, and wide intermediate frequency.
